Emily Leap
Board Member/Practitioner
Emily Leap, LAc, completed her MSTCM at ACTCM in 2017 and is currently a DAOM candidate. She is a Certified Massage Therapist.
In 2016, Emily completed 500 hours of training at the Henan TCM University in Zhengzhou, China. All 500 of those hours were in integrated Chinese and western medicine hospitals.
Emily was an apprentice to her shiatsu instructor, BJ Green. She trained in shiatsu, positional release, and muscle energy techniques, which are designed to alleviate pain by relieving stress on the nervous system. She also trained in chi nei tsang, or Chinese organ massage, which teaches the internal organs to work more efficiently.
As an intern in the community clinic at ACTCM, Emily focused her work on pain and substance abuse, helping chronic pain patients lower their doses of opioids.

Jennifer Bezjak

Jennifer Bezjak LAc, DACM, MSTCM, will earn her Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in 2018. This program include 5 years of postgraduate study and over 900 patient treatments.
During clinical internships at California Pacific Medical Center Inpatient Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center she worked in an Eastern/ Western integrated environment, treating patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal injuries, and reducing or eliminating the need for pain medications.
Jennifer was an intern at Ashby Lifelong Center in Berkeley, a non-profit that provides healthcare on a sliding scale to low income adults based. There she saw patients emerge from the haze of opiate dependence.
